"Search company data" will not appear

Hello!

We just got Wave 2 installed and checking on all new features. A problem that shows up is that, the new very time saving function /Search company data/ in Tell me, will not appear for my colleagues. For me it workes exaclty as it should. I have admin rights in BC. My colleagues do not see this option at all if they try to search.

This feature will be avaliable for all users. Does anyone know if this is a known problem or if I can do something to get it work?

Hii There,

As per your requirement, You need to check the extension of "Data Search", and permission of using that page, if the user not have permission for that they can't open/See that.

And how does one add permission to use that page?

I can see it as Admin, but my colleagues cannot...

Hi, please ensure that the user is assigned the "D365 Bus Full Access" or "D365 BASIC" permission set. If not, please set the following permissions manually.

Yet again you solve everyone's problems!

The users had D365 Bus Full Access already, but linked to a company in the list (the correct company). Clearing it so that it was not specific to a company seems to have solved it, and I've just taught a colleague how to use the Data Search feature...
