export html e-mail templates

Hi All,

I have tried to export the email templates with excel and then import them to my production instance without using the data configuration tool because it need an serviec user with CDS acces

Did someone succeeded to export import the e-mail templates with excel?

    Hi yes, this is doable. 

    1. Switch the view in the email template list to "Read Only Grid"

    2. Create a new view that you're going to use for exporting. In this view, make sure you add the "Designer HTML" and "Email body" columns

    3. Now, on this view, use filters to select which templates you'd like to export. 

    4. Click on the "Export to Excel" button in the ribbon - and save the excel file. This now has your HTML template data.

    5. In the new environment, use the import from excel to import the email template information. Make sure you do not change the column headers of the excel sheet. 

    6. Once the import operation is complete (you can keep an eye on it from MarketingSettings -> Import Data
