Hi
I am trying to upgrade the environment from 10.0.30 to 10.0.34. But every time I am trying it gives me the error - Preparing this environment for servicing has failed. Please click the Resume button to retry the failed operation.  Tried restarting the VM, checked the C drive and K drive. Both are having enough space. Please help.

I have the same question (0)

Is there enough space for the package on C:
Did you change the Admin account password?
    Is Visual Studio Open?

Also just to let you know, 10.0.34 is end of life/out of support.

    Hi Anthony,
As mentioned above, the C drive is having enough space. I am not aware of admin account password since its customer. How can we check any idea? Visual studio is closed. Yes I know its end of support but we are upgrading from .30 to .37 so in between we are going via .34 version

    Hi Harshal,

Is your VM language English or sth else? If it's not English then you need to change it back to English.

Can you please scroll down with LCS alittle bit (same screen from your screenshot), there should be an error section to read the error.

    Thanks,
    Layan Jweihan

    Hi Layan,

The VM language is English only. And I have pasted the whole region where I will get the error .

    Hi Harshal,

As you mentioned you restarted the VM, I do assume this is a development environment. In that case, you can also log into the VM and perform an update using the command line options. Then you will get to know the exact error message. It might be a missing pre-requisite. I used this method several times before. When a step fails, you can then check what is wrong. See the documentation for some help: Install deployable packages from the command line - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
