We’re evaluating Dynamics 365 for a security firm and need guidance on selecting the best solution. Our key requirements include:
- Work order creation
- Dispatching security officers
- Mobile functionality (including offline work)
- Real-time officer tracking
- Customizable security forms (e.g., incident reports, site inspections)
- Comprehensive reporting via Power BI
At first, Dynamics 365 Field Service seemed like the best fit, but we don’t need asset management, inventory, purchasing, returns, or billing capabilities. Given that, would Dynamics 365 Customer Service be a better choice, or should we stick with Field Service and customize it?
