Hi All

Just getting started with PowerBi with F&O

created some data sets and published them to my workspace.

When I go to the dataset in the workspace, I have a message for each query saying "Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again."

My choices are Anonymous, Basic, Key, oAuth2

If I select oAuth, it still asks for my user name

What's best practice? Normally, I'd use a service account, but then I'd have to pay for an F&O license for the service account

Hi Mark,

You can use Azure app registration Id and client secret for authentication. Please check this link for the steps and see if they work for you.
