Column security profile

Hello, in Power Apps for the Sales module, I created a column for which I enabled the security and I added in my solution the column security profiles for which I want specific teams to either be able to modify or not that field.
I want that the people who have the team "Sales Manager" can modify that field so they can approve or rejected the request. So that field below, I put "Allowed" were applicable and added the according team.

I want that the people who have the team "Sales" cannot read, update or create. I added that team in the Basic Sales security profile.

As a user, I only have the Sales teams, and in the Sales Manager team there is no one.

I published twice my solution, but I can still make modification on that field.
Does anyone know what I might be missing?

@Inogic, thank you for your response. It clears things up for me and at the same time, I learned that there are security roles to apply to BPF for which I didn't know about.

    Thanks

    Hi,

When a Column Security Profile is directly assigned to a user, it overrides their security roles, and the column-level access restrictions are applied as expected—regardless of their role (even System Administrator).
However, when the same profile is applied through a team, the user's individual security roles still take precedence. If the user has higher permissions (e.g., from the System Administrator role), those permissions are not overridden by the team's column security profile.
We tested this with a user who has the System Administrator role and is added to a team that has a restricted column security profile:
    • When the profile is applied directly to the user, the field is locked.
    • When the profile is applied via the team, the user is still able to modify the field.
    • Once we removed the System Administrator role from the user, the field was correctly restricted again via the team-based profile.
Please check the behavior on your end and let us know if you need any additional details or if you'd like help reviewing your setup.
    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!
    Inogic
