Prices Conversion according UofM

Hello everyone!

I hope you are doing well.

I'm working with prices. I have settled the UofM equivalence between pieces and boxes (1 box equals 6 pieces). I have set 'box' as the default UofM for sales and purchases.

Currently, I have set prices for 1 piece, and when I choose UofM 'box' in my purchase document, the prices is blank. The same for sales.

I would like to know if it is necessary for me to set prices for both units of measures. Or, if I set prices for 1 piece and then I choose 1 box, BC should calculate the price according to the conversion. If this is the case, maybe I'm missing some setup.

Thank you!

Hi Valeria, you must have your sales and purchase price price with the UofM. If you want to set only one price and make the conversion, you can develop a customization. Or you can invoke "Get Price" function on the lines.

Hi Damiano! Thank you for your quick answer :)

This 'Get Price' function is a standard one? If so, this function should be available for both sales and purchase documents?

    Thank you!

in item unit of measure the No of units will convert the larger to the smaller , but it will not effect the selling price

you have to set the prices by unit of measure one by one ,

Get Price will open the price list of the item

Yes! You can use it only on sales document. In the current line, you can click Line -> Functions -> Get Price. It shows the prices of that item, if you choose a line you can update the unit price. Unfortunately you can't use in purchase document, but you should develop a customization.
