Business Central API question

Hi
I'm looking for some assistance with the Business Central API. Currently I'm making calls to BC using the api v2.0 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/api-reference/v2.0/ which is working well but I'm now trying to get the posted creditor and debtor transaction data. On the debtor side I want the data from the 'Cust. Ledger Entry' table but there is no api endpoint for that table. (Nor the creditor side)
Have anyone got any idea how to query this data from the api?

Thanks for your help - I have had a look through the OData V4 web services and I can get the data I required

Hi, for 'Cust. Ledger Entry', there is a standard OData V4 URL in BC. You can try this first.

    For example: https://api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/v2.0/d8f36038-1f93-4543-affc-5dc92b6ee871/Sandbox02/ODataV4/Company('My%20Company')/Cust_LedgerEntries

If it's not available, as Igne said, you need to customize the new API.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

There is no standard API avalible for the Custom Ledger Entries or the Vendor Ledger entries.

So you would either have to use the Odata V4 webservice or create a custom API.

Best practice these days is to create a custom API for this.
