Hello Team,
I have installed dynamic GP Application on my system with sample company database. How should point GP to existing company database.?
I have tried restore option from local storage which was under tools, it say that database name not match?
Any suggestion, Please help me out.

Restoring a Dynamics GP database isn't any different from any other database when restoring in SQL.
This document has the step by steps if you need:

If you need to match the Dynamics GP code to the GP system database you have, you need to go into the Dex.ini file for Dynamics GP, which is usually in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP\Data\ directory and find the line:
Pathname=DYNAMICS/dbo/
This should be the name of your system database for Dynamics GP.
This is how GP knows what system database to look for in SQL, then it uses the SY01500 and other tables to find out what company databases it has under that system database.
