EFT File Structure - Sudden change in date format

Our EFT bank file that was sent to the bank yesterday was rejected.  After some time on the phone with BMO (Bank of Montreal), it was discovered that the date format was not correct.  It should be in the Julian Calendar format.  We sent an EFT file to the bank on Thursday, July 25th and it was accurate and suddenly, it changed the format of the date next day.

Has anyone faced this before?

Hi, did the user who exported the file change the Region or Language?

    Thanks.

Same issue for my clients banking with ATB and RBC.  Language nor Regional settings were not changed.  They run their weekly eft payment cycle and now all of a sudden the bank rejects their files.   They have been on business central for 1.5 years all good until this past EFT payment run.  It appears one of the last Microsoft updates broke the Julian date format?

you could take a look at the data exchange format for the bank. It maybe that someone changed the date format from Julian date to another format. Change it back as needed.

check the lines on the header, details, footer sections. There should be lines for date, then change the data format to Julian. Below is an example of where to find the spot to change. You could also ask a correct data exchange definition from your partner and import into your BC.

The latest Business Central update changed the Julian date calculations in the code so that's why everyone is having issues with it. As far as I know a user's region/language settings doesn't affect these EFT/ACH dates. A quick fix would be for a developer to restore in the code how the calculation is done.

Thank you all. The developers ended up fixing it. It was an issue caused due to a recent update/hotfix.
