What is Ginseng? Is it a testing tool. What is the main purpose of this tool? Where can i learn more about this?

Ginseng is still the testing tool being used. Even the latest version supports Web client. Being an internal testing tool and specifically used for Dynamics GP(as far as I know) , I am not sure you can learn more about it unless you work for MS or one of its partners for Dynamics GP.

I remember this from quite a few years ago - and as I understand it, Microsoft dropped it.
With Ginseng, you would create a set of macros that would automatically run, then you could automatically check the results. It allowed you to reset the data so that the tests were always consistent.
I think we still have a copy of it on our development servers - but I am not sure it will run with any of the recent versions of Dynamics GP.
