Recently I have been experiencing an issue on CRM Dynamics when I try to qualify a lead I get the following error message:
"State code is invalid or state code is valid but status code is invalid for a specified state code."
The log file then states:
"100000006 is not a valid status code on contact with Id c20ed54e-be17-e811-8123-e0071b668041."
If I omit the name of the contact, the account and opportunity are created and the lead successfully qualifies. This means that the issue seems to be that something is going wrong in the creation of the contact upon clicking the qualify button.
I'd be grateful if anyone can share some thoughts/suggestions around what could be the cause of this issue. Hopefully there is someone out there who has had a similar issue which they have managed to overcome.
