We plan to import data from a 3rd party Payroll software to SL GL module.
Would like to know :
1) Batch number: If batch number has to be the next serial GL batch number ? if so, what table stores the maximum batch number? ( note: the batch number is not a required field)
2) Tran Type: how system populates this? Can we populate any name that we want? Does it have to be the same as Module field? ( this field is in the GLtran table but not shows on the Journal Transactions screen)
