Limit User add column on View

Hi,

As a Title, User can add many columns on view by check configure columns option,and there are related entity column which will show data from other entity record.

But I don't want user to add related entity column on view like below picture.

There is a post about this,but no answer since 2022 Dec.

any ideal about this? Thanks.

(By the way... User must have contact read access,so I couldn't use security role to limit.
Click /searchable/ also fail, that's work on advanced find but not here.)

Hi Partner,

Unfortunately, it's impossible to prevent specific users adding columns to specific tables.

But you can disable this option for all users and tables.

Hi Leah,

Really sad to know this feature not exsit.

That's one way I think could limit user get related table data
( By the way, my original project is to mask data with custom masking design,but the related table retrieved is AliasedValue Type.
The type couldn't overwrite and return a masked Information on ViewList, so I just want to find other way to do that.
)

That's OK,I will try other way to achieve that.
