Import Excel for Purchase Invoice

I am trying Purchase Invoice with Configuration Package excel import. For one record, click 'import from excel', no error found. When click apply 'apply package', error is displayed.

Message read as 'you do not have permission on TableData Purch....'. At User function for the id, insert permission and modify permission is 'indirect' for purchase invoice. I believe the error is related to these permission. Is there a way to enable the permission? I am using Trial version of D365 BC.

Kindly advise. PI-import.jpg

Are you the administrator who setup the trial? I believe that user is able to alter permissions. For trial you might consider having SUPER permissions to remove any permission conflicts

You cannot import posted documents through a configuration package.

The licence error is about creating records in a table that can only be used by the system. I.E., when you post a purchase order.

If your goal is to import draft purchase invoices that users will post later using BC, you need the different tables:

    Purchase Header (38)

    Purchase Line (39)
Make sure you select Invoice in the field document type. This will allow you to create purchase invoices and not purchase orders when you apply the package.
