How to Calculate Earned Hours

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello,

In the Productivity Summary report, there is a column titled Earned Hours. How is this field calculated? I thought I had the formula figured out with:

(Output / Standard Output) * Actual Crew

But that doesn't seem to be accurate.

Any help would be great.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Thank you for posting your question.

At this point, I am not sure about the results because there is not a Report in Standard NAV Versions called Productivity Summary.   When you run the Report and the Request Page is presented, please click in the upper left corner - drop down arrow - then click Help > About this Page.   What Page Report Number is shown?  As an example, below is the standard Account Schedule Report. Note that the About this Page shows a Report No. 25 as highlighted.

    Please confirm your findings.

If the Report is numbered in the 50000 or 14 million range, it would be a custom Report that was designed by your partner. You would want to contact the partner for clarification on the report data.

I hope this helps move you forward.

    Best Regards,
    Tom

Hey Thomas, thanks for responding. The information you just said is very interesting as I was told that we have a vanilla Nav and no enhancements. However, here is the screenshot of the report I'm referring to.

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up.It could be that the partner didn't view this as a change to "plain vanilla" NAV. However, Report 50040 is definitely a non-standard NAV Report, so it will require contacting the partner contact who developed the Report. The Report doesn't exist in a standard NAV database supported by Microsoft.

    I appreciate your understanding.

    Best Regards

    Tom
