Task in multiple Queues?

Hello all:

I have a dilemma:  A user wants to see in which queue a Task is in; Queue Items Details says it is in multiple queues, but an Advanced Find only shows one queue it is in.

Is there anyway to "reset" the queue assignments?

    Rob,

I think one item can only assigned to single one queue?

because when I try to add to queue a record, it gives me only a lookup field, which is only can accept single entry, cannot multiple queues entered.

I try to make a record, first add to Queue A then add to Queue B, once I check, only 1 Queue Item detail for each record, that is now belong to Queue B (last assignment)

No multiple queues for one record so far I found. But, anyway, you can "reset" the assignment by Release it, Route It, or you can just go directly to the Task and then click again "Add to Queue"

Hope this is referring to your question.

    Thank you.

    Hi Rob,

As  Aileen said you should be able to Release the item from the Queue to 'reset' it, but I just wanted to also point out that this usually happens when a configured background process is creating a Queue Item when the system has already started running its own process to create a Queue Item. Hence ending up with two Queue Items.

    Thanks,

    Aaron

    Thanks, Aileen.

I don't know if this was a fluke, but on the second attempt on Add To Queue, it worked where it hadn't before.

    Thanks, Aaron

As I mentioned to Aileen, not sure if this was a fluke, but on the second attempt on Add To Queue, it worked where it hadn't before.
