Posting results for JBN-44 Voucher not specified As of 28/04/2026

I am trying to settle a PDC Cheque, getting the above error and not possible to post. each time I try the JBN number get changed to next number. Please let me know where did i went wrong

1) Issue
- Error occurs during posting of a PDC cheque with message "Posting results for JBN-44 Voucher not specified As of 28/04/2026"
- The system does not allow the transaction to be posted
- Each posting attempt generates a new JBN number instead of completing the process
- The settlement or posting process fails repeatedly without completing voucher creation

2) Reason
- The error is caused by a failure in voucher generation during the posting process
- A required voucher number is not being assigned due to missing or incorrect number sequence setup
- This leads to a failure when the system attempts to finalize posting and create the accounting entry
- The continuous increment of JBN numbers indicates that the number sequence is being reserved but the transaction is not successfully completed
- This can happen due to incorrect configuration in journal setup posting profiles or number sequence assignments for bank or PDC transactions

3) Resolution
- Verify that the number sequence for the relevant journal type (e.g. bank journal or PDC journal) is correctly configured and active
- Ensure that voucher number sequences are assigned properly in General ledger parameters and journal names
- Check the posting profile setup for bank accounts and PDC configuration to ensure all required accounts are defined
- Validate that the journal name used for the transaction has a valid voucher number sequence attached
- Review whether the number sequence is set to continuous and check for any blocked or corrupted sequences
- Run number sequence cleanup if there are many unused reserved numbers
- Confirm that all required financial dimensions and mandatory fields are populated correctly
- Test posting with a new journal and simplified data to isolate the issue
- If the issue persists capture the full error details and review batch or posting logs for additional information
