Hello,
If i dont want my currency to show beside the transaction value how can i do that?

I assume you arent using MC in GP. If you dont want a currency sign showing, and you dont mention where exactly, i would blank it out in Currency Setup (Tools>>Setup) and then see if that does the trick

If its just on reports (invoices etc) that you don't want the currency to show, you can create a currency format in report writer that is set to not show the currency symbol. Open the report in report writer, double click the currency field you want with no symbol, thn lick on the button to the right of the Format field, then click New, give it a name and make whatever choices you want - remembering to make sure the 'show currency symbol' field is unticked. Save this.
Double click any other fields you want with no currency symbol, and assign this new format to them.
Otherwise, as Mark suggests, removing the currency symbol from the curency set up will make every instance of this currency un-symboled (if that is an actual word!!).

Removing the currency symbol from checks is dangerous and not recommended. Currency symbols are taken by banks as one verification of the beginning of the amount. If a check is written for 1.00 with no currency symbol, it is too easy for someone to change it to 101.00 and change the text to match! If the amount was originally printed $1.00 it would require erasing or overprinting, easier to spot changes.
