Microsoft Dynamics Nav Server Instance 2013 R2

Hi

 When i give Demo Database in Microsoft Dynamics Nav Server Instance  Service gets started but when i give another Database Service does not get started.

    @Jsingh - Show us the Event Viewer Log for the Database where service is not getting started?

    Is service running or does it stop? can you check the eventviewer ?

    Can you please send us the screenshot, are you referring to DEV environment? or RTC ?

       When i give Demo Database it works fine. Only when i change it to another Database name then this problem comes

    As Josh mentioned please review the event log for the detailed error.  If you are using the same port for another service then it will not unless you enable port sharing or stop the demo service, another reason could be the service user not having permission on the database.

    Check the event viewer of the machine to determine the error. Are you using the same account to run the services? Does that account have access to the database?
