Mobile Manager on Symbol MC70

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the Mobile Manager to connect to the RMS Database, but when I try testing from the handheld, I get the Error: "Can't find PInvoke DLL 'dbnetlib.dll'.

I am running Windows Mobile 5.1.478 and have the following installed on the handheld:

Microsoft .NET CF 3.5

SQLServerCompact 3.5 Tools EN

SQLServerCompact 3.5 Core

New West Technologies Mobile Manager 5.5

Microsoft .NET CF 2.0

Microsoft SQL Client 2.0

I've tried manually placing the DLL into the directory with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I manually placed the correct .dll (from installing 'SSCEDeviceRuntime-ENU.msi')in the Mobile Manager directory on the MC70 and it fixed the issue. Thanks!

I did try. I even downloaded it and reinstalled with same results. I have reached out to New West Technologies and am awaiting their answer; figured I'd try asking here in the meantime.

Did you try installing

'SQL Server Compact 3.5 for Windows Mobile' (SSCEDeviceRuntime-ENU.msi)

on the MC70.

Also, I assume that NewWestTech has the ability to fix this...
