Hi, Please help.

I have done installed the following sequence for (RMS Headquarter, SO, CU5-2.0.2000), SQL Express 2012 and SQL 2005 Backward Capability on SurfacePro3 Windows 10 64bit . Question1: is this the correct sequence?

Question 2: I am getting error message: "Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object" when trying to launch HQ, SO -please any idea?

MSD***2*_HQ_enUS                  Application (restart)

MSD***2*_SO_enUS                    Application (restart)

Retail2.0-KB2887502                     Patch (CU5) (restart)

SQL Express 2012                           x64 standalone install (restart)

SQL 2005 Backward Capability     (SQLServer2005_BC_x64.ms*) (restart)

Found the Answer and Sequence of Install  if you need to install RMS 2.0.2000 CU5.

    1. SQL Express 2012       (SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe) standalone install (restart) -installed.

    2. SQL 2005 Backward Capability  (SQLServer2005_BC_x64.msi) (restart) -Only the SQL Distributed Management Objects

    3. MSDRMS20_HQ_enUS                 Application (restart)

    4. MSDRMS20_SO_enUS                   Application (restart)

    5. Retail2.0-KB2887502                     Patch (CU5) (restart)

*Note: if you installed HQ , SO and CU5 before you install Express 2012 and SQL 2005 Backward Capability.
You must uninstall everything, restart surface pro/pc workstation (take your time).

To make the computer device clean run:  Regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\System32\msxml3.dll and  Regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\ SysWoW64\msxml3.dll , Restart Surface Pro/Pc Workstation then follow Step 1 thru 5. (take your time).  Everything works and open clean. *This should resolve the 429 Activex Error.
