Email alert for Batch job.

Hi All,

I want to configure batch job alert in AX 2012 R3. Suppose if any batch went to error or warning then I want the alert message to be trigger into my mail.

but email field is not showing into my AX environment as show in below image.

Can any one please help to do this.

    Hello,

    There is no field for email, the system will take the email of the user creating the batch jobs (you should see the email under File > Tools >Options ).  Select Ended or Canceled above and try to cancel and batch job. Will you receive an email?

    Dear Crispin,

    Yes; however, i set the setup you mentioned above but i still cannot see the email field when clicking on Alert from Batch jobs form. Is there any other configuration to be done.

    Only when 'Send alert as email message' is set to 'Define on each alert rule' and that user has valid email address, that field will show up, but that field is not editable anyway, it merely shows the email address of that user which you can set up at 'User - options - general - options'.
