How to deploy changes from sandbox to production?

Hello everyone.

I created a sandbox environment and a consultant worked in that environment for a month. He made a lot of changes that I need to reflect in the production.

He works in the sales area, in tab "Goals".

Can you give me steps on how I can do this? How safe is it? Will I have problems with the environment?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

What kind of changes these are?

    • Customizations (Fields, Forms, Views, etc): should be done in a solution and then move this solution to Production (Export/Import).
    • Goal Definition: either you have to create definitions, roll up queries manually (in the production), or try using Data Import/Export feature.

    Related documentation:

Export solutions (Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premises) | Microsoft Docs

Import or update a solution (Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premises) | Microsoft Docs

Import accounts, leads, or other data (Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises)) | Microsoft Docs

    Hi Wahaj,

    Thanks for your reply.

Changes such as one tab, in the Goals area (I attach the screen) and a field has been added in the Goal entity.

I guess you got the answer.

Reports and fields are both part of the Solution which can be imported in another environment as Managed (preferable for production) or Un-managed.
