Has anyone had a customer request that they move the records somehow from MDA entries to AA coded entries?
Is there some sort of tool or SQL Query that someone has created to do this?
They are moving from MDA to AA and then FRx to Mgmt Reporter - and they used to have their FRx reports read the MDA records...
Thanks for your ideas!

No - I got some response about why it is complex - which I agree and is why I was hoping that someone had a trick. At this point I think we will have to manually add summary totals per account or the year or something. We haven't even thought it thru for all the various types of 'codes' they might use it for. If I get a good answer from Microsoft on a new case I am creating, I will share what they say back here.
I need to do this also. The client we are upgrading to GP2013 is using MDA and MDA doesn't work with Management Reporter. Did you figure out a way?
Abra:
The issue you have is that AA is multidimensional. It has layers to it. When you setup you will have to create the AA headers and then the codes under the headers. It can be very similiar to MDA and in fact at the client I work for now, I wonder whey they didn't just use MDA. But when you look at the tables that are involved in MDA. It is very complex. You might want to do AA as part of a new year and setup all the codes and start having the users enter that way. I have used Smart Connect to bring in my Trx level codes with all descriptions, but I don't think you will be able to do what you want without a whole lot of research and work.
