How to Set up a Continuity Program

Dear Community,

I would like to manage the sale of licenses within the Commerce module. The goal is that the customer can manage his licenses on the online store and add or remove as many licenses as he wants to.

So my first question: Is this even feasible?

My thought was to use Continuity Programs and therewith "deliver" the service of a license month by month. Does this make sense? If so, could anyone please explain to me what I have to consider and how I can properly set up a fitting Continuity Schedule (since the Microsoft instruction is not very enriching on this...)

Thank you very much for your help, it is much appreciated!

Best regards
Manuel

    Hi-

Currently, Microsoft only enable continuity program for call center,  so at least for now it is impossible to make it work for online store.

    Thanks

Thank you very much for your answer. But if I understand this correctly, the continuity program only applies to orders through the call center.

However, I would like to enable the customers to buy their licenses in the online store and also to manage them on a monthly basis, e.g. the customer purchases 15 licenses for a software in January, each license will trigger a continuity program so that they will be "delivered" to the customer for the next 12 months. Meanwhile the customer would also be able to add or remove licenses by his own every month in the online store.

Do you know if this is possible?

    Thanks again for your help!

I think you can refer this link: docs.microsoft.com/.../define-continuity-schedules to define a continuity program.

Create a released product for your license.

Define the continuity program for different month as per your requirement

Attach the program to the released product on the continuty schedule id

When create call center order to sell the license, the conitutiy order will be created.
