how to set text mask inn stringedit on form

Dear ALL

I want to set mask on string edit in on form ,

I have create Driver Info form and have three stringedit Name ,Address and National Identity Card Number , so I want to set mask on National Identity Card Number like (#####-#######-#) how do it .

please Help me

What do you mean by "set mask"?

You can easily write a validation to check if the field (or unbound control) has a value in the right format.

Could you please elaborate. Do you mean that you always want to mask National Identity card number or is it based on some condition?

The term “Mask identity” is very confusing. It sounds like you want encryption of data. Do you really want validation of data? If so, have a look at next thread. You can use RegularExpressions
