Pending Invoice not able to delete after recalled

There is a pending invoice that I am unable to delete after recalling it. The error message displayed is:

"Changes to the document are only allowed in state Draft, because change management is activated."

Details:

  • The invoice was submitted on 12/23/2024.
  • Due to the fiscal period being closed, I attempted to recall it to repost it in the new posting month January 2025 on 1/13/2025.
  • I need to delete the current invoice and recreate it with a new posting month of January 2025, instead of December 2024.

    Hi ZU,
    A status of "Draft" and " Change Management" typically refers to Purchase Orders.  If the Pending Invoice is in the workflow, the Delete button does not appear. After you have recalled the Pending Invoice, the delete button will appear again.  The first column below shows when the invoice is in the workflow.

    I would confirm that you are trying to delete the correct document.
