How to add custom button in model driven app dashboard

Posted on by 10

Hello Everyone,

I want to add a button in Dashboard of Model Drive app. To be specific just beside the 'Set As Default' button.

I added the Application Ribbons to the solution.

I opened the solution in Ribbon Workbench and added the button in Mscrm.DashboardTab in the Home Section of Ribbon workbench.  I can see it in classic mode but not in UCI.

I have already tried   updating 'clientfeatureset' as I found in this website. https://thehelplessheroes.wordpress.com/2020/01/13/dynamics-365-custom-ribbon-buttons-on-dashboard-page-not-showing-in-uci/

If i add it to Mscrm.GlobalTab, I can see the button but that is not the place where i want the button.

I would be thankful if someone could provide some help.

    Did you get this solved?

I had this issue awhile back, try adding a 'modern image', that was my issue.
