GP User login when selecting company in Management Reporter

When logged into Management Reporter - Designer, then selecting a Dynamics GP company from the Companies list and clicking to "Set as Default", MR prompts for the GP User login credentials.

We find that it is not accepting the GP user login - even though those users are active GP users with access to the relevant GP companies. it does connect if we use the "sa" account.

The GP users are however, not POWER USER role in GP security.

Is there some other GP security role or task etc that needs to be selected for those users in GP - so they can connect via MR? Or is there some other way of resolving the issue?

    Have you tried using/adding the user's domain account in MR? This may have something do with the encryption used to pass the GP login credentials to the server that are not applied to the sa user.

    The user  company access from with MR was already setup - and the users have been set as MR Administrators and have access to all the GP companies.

    It won't authenticate their GP users when selecting a company as default - but it works fine if we specify the "sa" user.

    You probably need to sign in as sa and grant the user company access from within Management Reporter.
