Connectors like OneDrive for Business, SFTP, and File System have the Extract Archive to Folder action, which is to uncompress archived files, but there's no vice versa action.

In Power Automate Desktop, there's this compression action that can easily archive files and folders into ZIP.

But this action is not available in cloud Power Automate.

Why is this only available on Desktop but not in Cloud? Is there any planned release for this feature in future?

Besides this encodian-add to archive(ZIP) , is there any other workaround that we can use to compress preferred files or filter into ZIP?

I need this to compress csv files and data entities metadata to create data package before creating an import job into D365.

Hi Hairul,

There is content types handling in Azure Logic Apps.

We will have to use Azure functions to compress files through Logic Apps.

There is a connector available in Power Automate for compressing pdf files.
