Linking entities

Hi Community,

I am querying how to link two entities together. I have created a new entity (called Restaurants) to add to our master entity (our account form) and I can't seem to link the both together. I have created a tab on the master entity, but it wont allow me to add the new (restaurant) entity into it. I have also created a relationship (N:1 - Many restaurants to one account) to both entities that can be seen when searching in the relationships. Am I missing something else? Do I have to create a work flow before both entities can be synced together? Any information you can provide would be highly appreciated.

    Hi Emma,

Are you trying to add subgrid in your new section and  your entity is not coming in the list. Is this what you mean?

    Hi Shaminder,

Thank you for a response. I haven't added a Sub Grid, I've added a 1 Tab. Do I need to add a Sub Grid?

Yes, Add a section in your tab and then insert a subgrid in it which will show you the list of entities. Select the entity which you want to show on form.

    Hope it Helps.

    Hi Emma,

To link an entity B inside the entity A, yes you need to create a 1:N relationship and also a N:1 relationship. And go to entity A's form, select a section you want to add that entity B on, click on "sub-grid" and set properties will pop up. Select related entity and next line pick "restaurant". Then you will be able to see it in the account form.
