Employee & Manager Self Service customization

Hi,

I like to customize the employee \Manager self service work space. We have custom forms for requesting leave etc.

I like to give access to create and view data for employee himself or to his direct manager.

ESS works exactly likes that. For implementing the same security for my custom form pleases advice what is the procedure.

I like to create a security role with record level security based on user name and organizational hierarchy.
