Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

You don’t have permissions to these records or something may be wrong with the site map. Contact your Dynamics 365 administrator.

Hi all,

This is quite urgent, don't know what is going on. Today I try to login (nothing changed as far as I know), but with the system admin I see this: You don’t have permissions to these records or something may be wrong with the site map. Contact your Dynamics 365 administrator..If you are the administrator, you can go to the solutions page and import a different solution.

Other users don't seem to have this problem. Which is good of course, but I'm stuck. We are using Dynamics 365 CRM Online.

Any ideas?

Today it is just working again, probably something MS related as I didn't do anything

I did get this not long ago. I added a privilege tag to a sub area by mistake and it was empty and didnt have anything assigned. This caused the same error as you got. I would suggest going into xrmtoolbox and checking each sub area and seeing if any privilege tags are empty?

Shouldn't be, was thinking that as well. I did set a privilege tag on items to hide things from the menu but that was a long time ago. I should normally still have access because a system admin has access to all custom entities.

Has anyone been working on the site map editor? It could be that some one has changed something in the Sitemap xml and is causing this error.
