Hi All

We allocate inventory items to jobs through job journals. The GL account posted is the Inventory Adjustment account. The problem is when inventory is damaged or adjusted and using Item Journal it goes to the same account. is there a way to set a different GL Account for Job transactions?

1. Add the Gen. Business Posting Group to your job journal

2. Add Gen. Business Posting Group of JOB (as an example)

3. Add General Posting Setup for the JOB GBPG and all the Gen. Prod. Posting Groups

4. When you create job journals for allocating inventory, make sure your users enter JOB in the General Business Posting Group field
