How can I get Salesperson code and Responsibility centre imported on customer

Hi, 

It seems that the Salesperson code and the responsibility centre aren't available in the API when importing customers. Any other suggestions on getting these fields across from a different system where they are regularly updated. This is a full SaaS implementation so I don't think there is any other option as to using the API. 

Are we looking at the right table Customer or do we need to look somewhere else ?

    You can create a custom API that includes the fields from the customer table that you need support for.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-develop-custom-api

    Using Dataverse might also be an option. But the API path is probably easier.

    Hi, Microsoft's standard API only provides basic fields. If you need other fields or customized fields, as NorthW said, it is recommended to create a new Custom API page or just a new page, publish it to the Web Service, and access it with Odata.

    Hi ,

    To access the responsibility center data from business central by creating new page ,which table object ID can be used? 5715 or do we have any other object Id ?

    If it is an one time data update you can also use  the edit in excel feature from the customer list.

    That is easy and efficient when it comes to maintaining data.
