Intrest calculation - exclude disputed transactions

hi all,

I have been searching if Ax2012 by default provides the option to exclude transactions which are disputed from the intrest calculation?

In the AR parameters, i have found the option for collection letters to exclude the disputed transactions from the collection-fee calculation but not yet for the intrest calculation. Not existing?

Does anybody know if this also is present somewhere for the intrest calculation?

Or this again going to be another customization to be made?

Hi Jo,

Not sure if there is an automated way, but at least it is possible to manually switch a flag on the customer transactions to exclude the transaction from interest calculations. You can do this by editing the interest calculation field. This is one of the few fields which can be updated on the customer transactions.

Hi Jo,

My knowledge is that the disputed status only includes your transactions from the collection letter process.

To exclude some transactions from interest calculations, you can make use of the parameter / flag that Andre described.

Thank you for the input and this will certainly support our business-needs.

To be clear: we are talking about the below tickmark which can be found on every individual customer-transaction

By default the tickmark is selected for all transactions but by unchecking the tickmark it will be excluded from the intrest-calculation function.

Our business will probably require a customization that if a transaction is set to "disputed" the tick-mark gets deselected automatically.
