Developer Resource for X++

Hello All,
As a newly joined developer in D365F&O, I am seeking resources to learn about the X++ programming language. This language will help me customize D365F&O to meet the requirements. Can anyone suggest any reliable tutorials, books, blog posts, or video courses that can help me get a better understanding of the language? Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hi,

    The content in the second link as provided by Waed is really great for starters. Next to hist suggestions, you can also go to the developer home page on Microsoft Learn: Develop and customize home page - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
    Note that there are also a lot of blogs, videos, and some resources that can be found via this community site navigation.

    Hi Community member,

    You can check this small series out, it describes the basics and best practices (these videos were a part of an old Microsoft exam that got deprecated)
    Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations - Module 01: Introduction to X++ (youtube.com)

    Also today, i saw a random post about a series recommended by someone, i didn't watch it myself -- you can give it a try
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzrpPC_F8EY&list=PLM0IzByElvm-djh5uSt9ISelnRmu0nkIw

    I think you can search more on youtube and check other helpful videos

    Thanks,

    Hi,
    You can check out this blog to learn about the steps you need to take to become an X++ developer. https://www.instructorbrandon.com/how-to-become-a-ms-dynamics-365-x-developer-in-3-weeks/
    According to this step, I think you can better clarify the key points of learning. For the content of learning, you can check the official documents provided by Andre to understand the general framework of X++ learning, the environment and tools required for X++ development, and the specific language programming. And please pay attention to the navigation bar on the right side of the document. Also, you can check out the link provided by Waed which mentions the exam certifications that developers need to take.
    Best Regards,
    Hana
