Enter Match Invoice distributions

i made one shipment without invoice in the item line i didn't put any cost.

so there is not financial affection up to this point.

after that i go to enter match invoice i put the items cost.

not i need to know what should be the correct distributions,

because i'm getting the distributions as below:

Dr: Empty (not allowing to delete it) i think it should go to PPV Account but my problem is why i need this account and what is the use of it ? and why i can't put the inv account directly with full amount

plus that if i put this account which is PPV what should be the next step to make this account zero ?

Dr: inventory

Cr: Payable

In case you are receiving without a purchase order, then your journal entry shall be as you mentioned (Dr. Inventory and Cr. Payables)

In case you already received against a purchase order, make sure to click the checkbox "Revalue IV" on the match window as shown below:

actually you are right one of the items in the shipment was without the inv. account number thats why is was not showing thanks a lot

btw there is no PO for this shipment :)
