Withholding tax not calculating in a GJ journal

Hi everyone!
 
Does anyone know why in the below journal, even after specifying both Item Wht tax groups and WHT tax Groups, WHT tax isn't getting calculated?
 
 
The client does not use AP journals, they go directly > D expense / C bank
 
 
 
Notes - Enable WHT is completed.
WHT codes are created.
WHT group and Item WHT groups are created.
 
 
Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Hi Maris,
     
    Can you put Debit and credit in the same line and check if its working.

    I think it is because of accounting entry like without Vendor/customer . Seems it is calculated only for vendor/customer transactions. 


     We might need to check supported transaction types to confirm this

    According to my understanding, it only works with the Customer, Vendor, or Item. 
    if you trying to deduct WHT   way is to deduct the amount manually add another line with the same (deducted) amount, and post it into the WHT account.

    Yes - it looks like it is only working with Customers, Vendors and Items.
