Hello Everyone,
I want to add custom validation when data is imported through data management and also maintain their error log in stagging table.
Data entity has validatefield and validateWrite method. You can use those methods. The log should be maintained for these validation automatically.

Override validate field method is not allowed because its standard entity and i am also try to wrap method through COC but its throw error. I am not sure but before platform 26 we cant apply COC on data entity method but after platform 26 i can do that ? But still i am getting error i don't no why , i am working on platform 29.
Finally i am using validate field event handler and its working fine. But as compared to event handler my first approach is using COC but i am not sure how we can implement on data entity.
You can do COC on entity methods. What error you are getting when you do COC. What platform and application version you are on. Although you got it to work using event handler , Please share details about the error when you try COC.
