Field Services for "Fleet Management"?

Dear Field Services community! hello!

Maybe this a rather basic question, but I appreciate any hint or suggestion. Currently, I am prospecting a customer, that has a truck fleet and needs to coordinate the different trips from the drivers/trucks.

Should this be a sweet spot for Dynamics Field Services?

    Hi Hugo.

    I have done it not long ago. I will add some notes 

    • Work Order for each delivery;
    • Work Order Service would give the items included in the invoice;
    • Resources for Trucks and Drivers, Use Requirement Group if you want to schedule both together
    • Field Service Calculated the travel time and mileage
    • The mobile phone will give you offline capability, real-time tracking and let the customer sign on the glass. 
    • Field Service does not calculate the Truck capacity, how much you can load for each trip.
    • In addition, we use the agreements to auto-create the work order for the trucks preventive maintenance.
