Data tables for Purchase Orders

Hi

I am trying to create a Power Bi report that runs off our D365 F&O and in the Purchase ledger/all purchase order we can add a column that shows if the PO status is "open order" etc. I have tried everything I know but can not find that anywhere in any table other than Purchtable and Microsoft seem to have locked that and it can not be used in BI report. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I have the same question (0)

    Hi BoydBrebner,

If your question is now answered, could you please mark the verified answer/s?

This can be by using Did this answer your question? > Yes by (one ore more) replies forming the answer.

    Hi,

Please take a look at my post about using SRSAnalysisEnums table. d365foe.blogspot.com/.../how-to-use-enum-values-instead-of.html

If you have access to a D365FO dev system, you can see the technical names of the enums.

really? well that is both fantastic and frustrating... but solves our problem, is there an easy way to track these kind of different naming?

    Hi,

Both are the same.  Enum name is Backorder and the label is 'Open order'

Backorder is the same than Open order.

Backorder is the underlying technical name for that enum value, and Open order is the label that is shown in D365 user interface.

i can now see the problem clearer, when we look at these status when in D365 we can select "open order" but when we view it is Power BI we only see Backorder, cancelled, invoiced, received. and no sign of the status "open order"

Can you send a screenshot where you see two columns?

Use PurchPurchaseOrderHeaderV2Entity (via OData you access it with PurchaseOrderHeadersV2).

    There you have field PurchaseOrderStatus
