How receive money from vendor / create sale order for vendor

Dear All,

I wonder if it is possible to create sale order for vendor?.

Our company working is trading and we need to receive money from vendor in some trade. as we need to calculate the balance of the vendor I really don't want to define my vendor as a customer.

I would appreciate if i have your support regarding this problem.

Business Central 2022 wave 1 (BC20) new features: Consolidate customer and vendor balances (For the company that is both customer and vendor)

How receive money from vendor / create sale order for vendor

Can you provide more details about your scenario, as it would help to provide a more accurate solution. But the simplest way is to create a purchase credit memo against the vendor and book it against a G/L Account. This way your AP subledger would show the vendor 'owing' you money. Unless you create the vendor as a customer, its not possible to create a sales order against it.
