Hello,
a customer in Germany wants to make payments in CGI format. Do any of you know if this format is available in D365 Electronic Reporting?
Thank you for your help
Liliana
Hi Liana,
As per Microsoft documentation, I don't see this option. docs.microsoft.com/.../general-electronic-reporting
Is SEPA an alternative for you? You can also search on the AppSource if there is an ISV solution available.
Eventually, you can configure an own format using Electronic Reporting.
Hi Lili,
What does CGI stand for?
If I search for that abbreviation I end up on the swift page that refers to ISO20022, which are 'normal' SEPA payments.
Can you double check and verify this with the customer?
If my suspicion is right, you can use the standard SEPA payment file format that is available for Germany.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
yes you are right, CGI format ist similary SEPA ISO20022 but in the xml. CGI format are some fields that are not available in xml. SEPA format. The CGI format will be uses for transfers to non-EU creditors an will replace the ACH payment format.
Best regards
Lili
Hi Liliana,
CGI format is currently not a regulatory format, this is the reason why it is not available in D365 Electronic Reporting.
To have visibility on this requirement you might want to add this request to our ideas portal https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/.
