Project Aging/Recap Report

Posted on by 1,000

Hi all

I have a customer who wants to use a variation of this report, but when we look at it, the aging doesn't appear to be working. The total and all the details are the same as the AR Aging Report is giving me, but when I run the project report, all the invoices show in the current column.

I tried running the Age Customer Detail process in AR, no changes.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Allison.

Hmmm, it may help if you check the check box on the statement cycle on before you run it. All seems to be working fine now - thanks Carolyn.

    Hi Allison,

I tested this report by entering several invoices in AR with varying dates, some I backdated to two months ago.  I assigned projects and tasks to all of them.  When I first ran the Project Aging report, they all appeared in the Current column.  However, after running the AR Aging for all statement cycles, the invoices fell in the various buckets depending on what dates I assigned to them during data entry.  So it appears the report is working correctly.

You say that they are aging correctly in the AR Aging report.  I know that report ages documents when it is run and you don't necessarily need to run the AR Aging process.  You said you ran it but maybe you didn't select all Statement Cycles or forgot to select the Statement Cycle when you ran the process?
