Best way to BULK split fixed assets?

Hi experts,

I'm aware of splitting a fixed asset from its Book page, but I don't see a way to split MULTIPLE fixed assets at once. This is a badly needed feature. Does this feature not exist? If not, is there a particular work around anyone is aware of?

Hi William,

When I read your question, you mentioned multiple fixed assets? Is this about one asset being split into multiple assets or multiple assets into multiple assets?

What is the exact business scenario in case of multiple into multiple at once?

@André Arnaud de Calavon thank you for the response. The exact business scenario is splitting a large number of fixed assets at once. For example, splitting 1000 similar fixed assets based on a shared amount or percentage.

At present only way is please use fixed asset journal with Manual Entries or upload through data management

Create a Fixed Asset journal with

Acquisition adjustment for the original asset XXXX

Acquisition for the new asset XXXX
