Receipt design - Total discount price for promo items to be visible instead of original price

Hello,

I am trying to find a work around in receipt designer for total discount price to be visible in receipt instead of original price.

The discount amount difference is visible in small backets which is confusing for customer as total price after discount is not visible.

can someone share their findings how they managed to overcome this situation without customization?

using MPOS and D365 F&O

Receipt design - Total discount price for promo items to be visible instead of original price

There is no field available to show the discounted unit price. We go for customization.

You can use the "Net Amount" field to show the discounted line net amount to avoid confusion to some level. This could work for lines with 1 qty. If there are multiple quantities, it will show the (Unit Price - Discount ) x Qty.
