Released product creation V2 entity versus number sequence

Hello,

I am trying to create (released) products using the 'Released product creation V2' entity via DMF and would like to use the Products number sequence, to achieve that the Product number will always be equal to the Released product number.

I have set the PRODUCTNUMBER staging field in the mapping details to Auto-generated. In the Excel file, both the PRODUCTNUMBER and the ITEMNUMBER fields are left blank.

Keep running in to an error in the Excecution log:

Number sequence is not set
Issue exists in auto generation of number sequence
Issue exist in generate staging data
'1' 'Released product creation V2' record(s) inserted in staging

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Released products entity needs Product number already to be in place

    should first use entity 'Products v2' generate product number and then could use the same as item number in entity 'Released products v2'

    suggest if it helps

    I am not using the 'Released products' or 'Released products V2' entity. I am using the 'Released product creation V2' entity.

    The 'Released product creation V2' entity creates the product ánd it releases the product to current legal entity.

    However, thank you for your suggestion.

    Hi ErikJ,

    Delete the item number and product number columns, and uncheck ‘Manual’ for the number sequence of the product number.

    Then try to import again.

    Hi ErikJ,

    I was not able to succeed while using Data entity RELEASED PRODUCT CREATION V2. by removing the Item and Product number column from the file.

    Please guide on the process.

    Do I miss any step?
