How to add a number of shopify variants from an Item on Dynamic 365 Business Center?

Hello

I am adding an item from sales to the product of Shpoify.
When add an item, I want to add a number of variants. These variants can be other items's variant.

In short way, I want to know how I can use other Item as a variant.

I had attached the example, I want to add item like image.
As you can see, it had added a item "WERM-19070", but shopify variants has 2 items "WERM-19070" and "W-WERM-19070"

I am not sure I understand your question. Are you wondering how you can use Business Central item variants together with Shopify?

If you want to do that you should create your items and variants in BC and then sync them to Shopify.

If I understand correctly: Supposedly if you have 2 items (Item A & B) created in your item (list) master in Business central - Are you intending to use Item B as a "Variant" to Item A?

Hi, unfortunately, there is no way in Standard as far as I know.

But I think a small customization can be done to achieve it

Hi, Just a very simple proposal.
You can associate the Item table with the Code or a new field, and automatically validate other information after selecting the item number.

Hope this can give you some hints.

Thank you for your help.

I had added item "WERM-1809B" as a Variant like image.

And then add item "WERM-18094"

At that time, I am getting 2 variants.

It is good for me to add 2 variants.

But as you can see, Item numbers are only Item "WERM-18094", but I want to be Item number = "WERM-1809B" as a second Variant.
Could you help this?

Do you need to modify Item No. according to Item Variant Code?

Item No. is the primary key of Item, you can manually modify it on the page. But it modifies a lot of associated records, which may take a long time.

And if you modify it, the Item No. of your previous line record 'LIFERBAR' will also change. So I suggest you revise your solution.

I don't want to update the item number.

I want to add 2 items when adding an item in Product of shopify.

But as you can see, in my attached image, it is adding the only items.

In short word, I want to use item as a variant.
